J.R. McChesney Pattern No. 1 Spurs w/ Harpham Brothers Straps

Antique set of pattern no. 1 spurs by J.R. McChesney. Single mounted silver of bars with wheat motif and a larger silver mounted button on the silver side. Shank is double mounted with the same motif and features a five point star rowel. The spurs are in very good condition given age with an attractive patina. Straps are old Harpham Bros. Stamped HB Brand. They were a very established leather manufacturer known for their saddles in the early 20th Century and located in Lincoln, Nebraska. The leather is smooth and in good condition.
