Vintage Javanese Kris w/ Wavy Blade F3141

Vintage Kris with traditional wavy blade (bilah) in Damascus steel with rare and unique ornamentation. Top of hilt decorated with small jewels. Sheath with ornate filigree in great condition.

Overall excellent condition.

The kris or keris, is a weapon used in Southeast Asia region during ancient time and is famous for often having a distinctive wavy blade. In Balinese culture, kris is a symbolic weapon used by kings and warriors into battle. The Balinese people treat each kris as an aesthetic being.
